Fremont Art Association is excited to feature Anna Verkhovskaya as the guest artist at its General Meeting and Art Demo on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 1:00 pm live from its gallery in Niles, Fremont.
In this demonstration, Anna will showcase the art of silk painting, highlighting techniques such as gutta outlining, color application, and layering to create vibrant, flowing designs. She will explain how dyes interact uniquely with silk, along with essential methods for fixing color and preserving the fabric’s beauty. Attendees will gain insight into both the creative process and the care required to maintain hand-painted silk pieces.
