The Joy of Gel Printing!

Fremont Art Association is excited to feature Barbara Cronin as the guest artist at its General Meeting and Art Demo on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 1:00 pm live from its gallery in Niles, Fremont.

In this demonstration, Barbara Cronin will be demonstrating several ways to play with color on a gel plate. A gel plate is a surface on which you print paper with acrylic paint one print at a time. Mono printing does not produce multiple prints. Attendees will gain insight into this creative process that produces a unique result each time.

Barbara is a past board member of the Fremont Art Association and resides in Fremont with her husband and many cats. She has been gel printing for 10 years. She also has extensive experience in mediums such as watercolor, acrylics, as well as ceramics and bookbinding. She holds a degree i…
