Macramé Class for Beginners
with Ms. Parul Parekh
This class revives the ancient art of knotting. The instructor will teach the basic vintage macramé knots and guide the student to create their own personalized artwork that they can take home. Every class is independent and unique as students learn to make mid-sized wall hangings, plant holders, table décor, and more, with a new project for each class. No prerequisite skills are required! Come with your enthusiasm and get knotty!

Parul is a self-taught Bay Area macramé artist. She thoroughly enjoys this art form relying on her instincts and spontaneity, which results in a personalized original work of art. She considers each mistake along the journey as a happy accident. Her intentions are to bring this ancient art of knotting alive through teaching and promote it for its simplicity and elegance.
