Carol Ramos will instruct a step-by-step painting class at the Fremont Art Association. She will lead class participants through techniques and exercises resulting in a finished painting. Beginner painters welcome!

Level: All

Ages: 18+

Classes through April 27th, 2024

Fridays and Saturdays, 10-12pm

Cost per class:

$20 for FAA (Fremont Art Association) Members

and Non-members

Materials Needed:

Plastic table covering for your space!
Mijello plastic watercolor palette with at least 18 wells-includes lid --$10.50- Amazon
Watercolor brushes -# 10, 12 and larger
Watercolor Paints in tubes: Individual Paint colors: yellow, orange, alizarin crimson, sap green, violet, burnt sienna, cobalt blue, Ultra-marine blue (Daniel Smith or Winsor Newton, are excellent watercolor tube paints) Reeves and Cotman tubes are good to start with.
Cold Pressed 140 lb watercolor paper Arches and Fabriano are excellent paper or Canson 140 watercolor blocks 9x12 or single sheets.
Water container—cottage cheese containers are great size
Viva paper towels—a must have!
Masking fluid
Ruler and pencil
